The pan is designed with durability in mind, with extra material for both the flange and bottom structure.
Extra large radius fillets are added to prevent cracking in case of a large rock or curbs hitting it. Even the cooling fins have added thickness for increased rigidity and increased surface area.
 
The flange features 3 extra M6 threads on both sides of the sump.
These can be used if you want to add an extra cover under the pan for added protection and better aerodynamics.
 
The kit includes our billet aluminium HP filter cover, only avaliable from HPR.
 
If you are running your exhaust close to the HP filter, we would say that this is a must have.
 
You don't want to risk melting the original plastic cover, potentially leading to crashes or transmission failure in seconds.
 
We love to build in extra features in our products, and the M6 holes for the cover can be used to bolt in the #improvedracing thermostat for a super smooth install.
